A Line Of Champions

“And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens…” (Hebrews 11:32-35).

As Christian we weren’t born after the first Adam, but after the second and last Adam, Jesus Christ. The first Adam didn’t please God with his actions, but the second Adam (Jesus Christ), in whose image we were born, and whose likeness we share, pleased God and succeeded in his mission. He leads a new lineage of champions. When you understand this truth, you will never consider yourself a failure in anything. This is because the life He has given us, the life you have in you, cannot fail. The word, “Cannot ” isn’t even strong enough: It DOES NOT fail! Failure isn’t associated with it. Hallelujah!

Think about it this way: Cats don’t bark, because it’s not a part of their nature. So, even if we found one that could, it would be wrong. Likewise, if you found a Christian that failed, it’s unnatural. We don’t give up! It doesn’t matter how low in the valley we get; we get back on the mountaintop. You can’t knock us out, because we’re a chosen breed; a peculiar people. Glory!

We belong to the generation of “more than conquerors”; therefore, even now, declare out loud: “I know who I am. I’ve found my place in Christ and my inheritance in Him. I’m a success forever. Sickness, poverty, discouragement and fear aren’t consistent with my nature. I have, and exercise, dominion over all circumstances and the adversities of life. Blessed be God!”

Jesus didn’t die for nothing. He didn’t die so we could become failures, weaklings and victims. Jesus Christ died to raise a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and a peculiar breed of champions. Hallelujah!
